Recognition for the Women’s Land Army

 The Government has announced that there will be formal recognition for wartime women who worked on the land.   The effort of the Women’s Land Army and Women’s Timber Corps will be recognised with a specially designed badge commemorating their service and acknowledging the debt that the country owes to them.

 

If you were in the Women’s Land Army or Women’s Timber Corps and live in Gedling constituency please get in touch with Vernon Coaker’s office. You can phone Vernon's office on 0115 9204224 or write to 2A Parkyn Road, Daybrook, Nottingham, NG5 6BG with your name and address for more information about how to apply for a badge.
