I have been the Member of Parliament for Gedling since 1997.

The Gedling constituency includes Arnold, Burton Joyce, Carlton, Colwick, Daybrook, Gedling, Mapperley, Netherfield, Stoke Bardolph and Woodthorpe.

I would like to thank the residents of Gedling for returning me as their MP in the recent election. It is a great privilege to continue to represent Gedling and I will continue to work hard for my constituents.

Arnold Town FC

On Sunday 14th February Vernon went along to Arnold Town Football Club to watch some of the under 10's and under 14's play football.

Vernon said: "Wonderful to see all those pitches being used by young people. One last task is to get the last few pitches available for use."
