Vernon was really pleased to be back at Age Concern's Christmas Fair in Carlton this year. He stopped by the tombola and bought a delicious coffee and walnut cake whilst chatting with volunteers and guests.

This morning Vernon was treated to a tour of Rosehill School by Deputy Headteacher Cheryl Steele and students Barney, Nicholas, Duncan and Kyfer (pictured below). Rosehill is a special school that provides excellent teaching and support for young people with autism aged 4-19.

Yesterday, Vernon stopped by St George's Community Centre Netherfield during their Halloween Party.

The place was packed with people of all ages enjoying apple bobbing, a pumpkin competition, a disco, a bouncy castle, glowstick ring toss, a disco and most importantly, a best costume competition!
