I have been the Member of Parliament for Gedling since 1997.

The Gedling constituency includes Arnold, Burton Joyce, Carlton, Colwick, Daybrook, Gedling, Mapperley, Netherfield, Stoke Bardolph and Woodthorpe.

I would like to thank the residents of Gedling for returning me as their MP in the recent election. It is a great privilege to continue to represent Gedling and I will continue to work hard for my constituents.

Carlton Central Infants open new extended service community room

On Friday 29th January Vernon was invited to say a few words at the open afternoon held at Carlton Central Infants School to promote their new extended services community room.

This fantastic new facility will be used for adult education, family learning, drop-in sessions and multi-agency meetings.
