I have been the Member of Parliament for Gedling since 1997.

The Gedling constituency includes Arnold, Burton Joyce, Carlton, Colwick, Daybrook, Gedling, Mapperley, Netherfield, Stoke Bardolph and Woodthorpe.

   Count Me In - Turn Your Back On Knife Crime

 

 

On Friday 19th March Vernon attended the launch of 'COUNT ME IN - Together we can stop knife crime' campaign which was held in Nottingham at the Bulwell Academy.


COUNT ME IN is a joint campaign between the Government and Families Utd to tackle knife crime.


Vernon said: "I am very grateful to Families Utd for their support. From their tragic experiences, they have become the driving force behind this nationwide campaign to end knife crime."
