Working Hard For You In Gedling

Dorket Head

Vernon called a meeting yesterday with FCC Environment, the Environment Agency, Cllr Michael Payne (Deputy Leader GBC), Gedling Borough Council and Notts County Council officers, to discuss Dorket Head.  The Environment Agency have issued a joint statement following this meeting which can be viewed here:

FCC are carrying out additional measures to try to alleviate the odour problems.  These will be given some time to start working fully and the situation will continue to be monitored.  If there is no improvement and FCC cannot take further measures to control the odour at the site, the Environment Agency will take action to limit activities at the site until the odour can be managed appropriately.

The group will meet again in January to assess the situation.
