I have been the Member of Parliament for Gedling since 1997.

The Gedling constituency includes Arnold, Burton Joyce, Carlton, Colwick, Daybrook, Gedling, Mapperley, Netherfield, Stoke Bardolph and Woodthorpe.

I would like to thank the residents of Gedling for returning me as their MP in the recent election. It is a great privilege to continue to represent Gedling and I will continue to work hard for my constituents.

Kiddy Shack Out of School Clubs

During the schools half-term holidays Kiddy Shack ran a week of events for Children in the local area. Events ranged from an outing to the Twin Lakes to making Chinese Lanterns to celebrate Chinese New Year.

Vernon attended a Fun Day which was held at Pond Hills Community Centre in Arnold. The Kiddy Shack was set up by Rachael Pollitt and Vernon actually attended their first family fun day in 2004!

Children were making rockets, masks, shakers and playing air-hockey, hopscotch and painting!
