Vernon helps the Netherfield Green Group hand out their Cotton Bags to every household in Netherfield!

The Netherfield Eco Action Team would like to minimise the use of plastic bags to help support the environment. They have done a fantastic job putting this project together in which they have managed to find the money and resources to organise the manufacture of thousands of cotton bags.

A bag was delivered to every household in the Netherfield area. All bags were delivered in only a few hours thanks to the many residents of Netherfield who gave up their Saturday morning to come along and support this project.

Vernon attended the event to thank the Netherfield Eco Action Group for all their hard work and he also helped deliver some cotton bags! Vernon said: "It was a great turnout, by great people, in a great community, for a great cause"
