Passchendaele 100 Years

Today we commemorate the brave men and women from all over the world, both on the front line and in the hospitals who died in the third Battle of Passchendaele, which commenced on this day 100 years ago.

The battle, occurring near Ypres, was one of the longest and bloodiest within the war and lasted between 31st of July and 10th November.

We must commemorate all of the victims and keep the story of the Battle of Passchendaele alive. We must remember the struggle and commitment of a generation who gave their lives for our freedom, and the continuing fight for a peaceful world.
