Porchester School pupils talk to Vernon about Marine Litter

On Tuesday 8th December Vernon visited Porchester Junior School to see students' presentations on marine litter.

Vernon was extremely impressed with the students' knowledge of the problems of disposing waste in the ocean, particularly in relation to plastics.

Students produced great power point presentations to highlight the problems this waste causes in the sea.

Vernon said: "It really brought it home about how important it is to recycle and reduce the use of plastic such as carrier bags."
