I have been the Member of Parliament for Gedling since 1997.

The Gedling constituency includes Arnold, Burton Joyce, Carlton, Colwick, Daybrook, Gedling, Mapperley, Netherfield, Stoke Bardolph and Woodthorpe.

I would like to thank the residents of Gedling for returning me as their MP in the recent election. It is a great privilege to continue to represent Gedling and I will continue to work hard for my constituents.

Vernon meets constituents at The ARK

On Saturday 20th June 2009 Vernon was at The ARK for one of his weekly surgeries

Vernon holds regular surgeries around the constituency which often includes visiting The ARK on Wollaton Avenue in Gedling. The ARK also had a coffee morning to raise money for Christian Aid which was well attended.
