I have been the Member of Parliament for Gedling since 1997.

The Gedling constituency includes Arnold, Burton Joyce, Carlton, Colwick, Daybrook, Gedling, Mapperley, Netherfield, Stoke Bardolph and Woodthorpe.

I would like to thank the residents of Gedling for returning me as their MP in the recent election. It is a great privilege to continue to represent Gedling and I will continue to work hard for my constituents.

Vernon visits Priory School

On Friday 18th December Vernon visited Priory Junior School in Gedling to speak to staff and students.

Vernon was very impressed by the themed learning throughout all subjects. This term the children had been learning about dragons which was displayed over the walls in art work, poems and internet research.

Next term teachers will be using Robin Hood to inspire the different subject areas.
