Vernon meets NI Members of Youth Parliament

This week, Vernon has been pleased to meet with two Members of UK Youth Parliament from Northern Ireland.

On Tuesday, Vernon enjoyed speaking with Ross McVittie, Member for Belfast East (pictured below). Ross told Vernon about the Youth Parliament's National Campaign for 2016 and Vernon is pleased to support #DontHateEducate, their effort to work together to combat racism and religious discrimination. On Thursday, Vernon was also glad to talk with Darragh O'Reilly, Member for Fermanagh and South Tyrone (pictured below). Darragh made contact with Vernon to talk about education in Northern Ireland, votes at 16 and the Northern Ireland Labour Party.

Vernon was very impressed by both Members from Northern Ireland and wishes them all the best with their future political pursuits.
